Side effects of Seroflo 250 Inhaler

The use of Seroflo inhalers is secure, but some individuals can experience side effects. Most effects are transient and go away when the body gets used to the inhaler. If they persist and worry you, you should immediately see a doctor.

Seroflo Inhaler 250 side effects include:

• Vomiting
• Fungal infection of the mouth
• Headache
• Respiratory tract infection
• Sore throat
• Increased heart rate
• Musculoskeletal (bone, muscle, or joint) pain
• Hoarseness of voice
• Cough
• Nausea

Interactions

There may be medication or dietary interactions with the Seroflo inhaler 250. It may also worsen an existing condition. Therefore, discussing your medical history and current drugs with your doctor is essential.

Drug interactions

Seroflo may interact with the following medications:

• Central nervous system stimulants
• Antibiotic 
• Medicines used to lower high blood pressure
• Laxative
• Water pills 
• Bronchodilators (Salmeterol)

• Antidepressant (Duloxetine)
• Steroids

Disease interactions

Do not use Seroflo 250 if you have the following:

• Hyperthyroidism 
• Liver disease
• Adrenal gland problems
• Hypokalaemia 
• Glaucoma
• Cataracts
• Osteoporosis
• Tuberculosis
• High blood pressure
• Diabetes, chest or lung infection
• Heart

Food interactions

You should not consume grapefruit or its juice while using the inhaler. 

Precautions

Keep the following things in mind when using Cipla Serflo Inhaler 250:

• Missed dose: Use the Seroflo 250 Inhaler as soon as possible if you miss a dosage. However, if your next dosage is near, you should drop the missed dose and continue the prescribed dosage
• Overdose: Please consult your doctor if you have used more than the recommended dosage
• The inhaler does not function immediately and should not be used for unexpected breathing difficulties. Use your rescue inhaler to alleviate abrupt breathing difficulties
• A dry mouth is a possible side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, proper dental hygiene, an increase in water consumption, and sugar-free candies may be beneficial
• After each inhalation, gargle with warm water to prevent fungal infections in the mouth and throat
• Take the initial dose of this medication under medical supervision, as it may quickly cause wheezing or constriction of the airways (Bronchospasm)
• As low oxygen levels in the blood (Hypoxia) and medications such as Seroflo 250 Inhaler can drop blood Potassium levels, your doctor may test it periodically
• After inhalation, only minute quantities of Seroflo 250 Inhaler may be absorbed into the circulation. Consequently, severe side effects are rare
