About Glyco Cream 6% (30 gm)

The primary salt present in Glyco Cream 6 is Glycolic Acid. It treats skin that the sun, acne, and inflammation have damaged. Glycolic acid is a sort of Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA). It is a natural acid found in foods. Glycolic acid comes from sugarcane.

Alpha-hydroxy acids like Glycolic Acid work by taking off the top layers of dead skin cells. Glyco Cream 6% (30 gm) comes with highly positive reviews and is a recommended medication for Acne.

Usage

These are the list of all the uses of Glyco Cream 6.

Acne

Individuals aged 12 and above experiencing mild to moderate acne apply Glycolic acid to their skin to effectively address and eliminate their acne.

Aging skin

Applying Glycolic acid appears to result in reducing or disappearing wrinkles and other indications of aging and sun damage.

Acne scars

Applying Glycolic acid, either alone or in conjunction with micro-needling, contributes to improving acne scars on the skin.

Face with dark spots on it (Melasma)

The application of Glycolic acid, whether used alone or in combination with other treatments, appears to enhance the improvement of mixed-type and epidermal-type melasma. However, it does not appear effective for dermal-type melasma, which occurs in a deeper layer of the skin.

Working

Glycolic acid is the active ingredient in Glyco Cream 6% w/w. This acid heals skin damaged by UV light and reduces inflammation. The use of Glycolic acid shows chemical exfoliation. Even though it doesn’t work as quickly as a scrub, the acid can get deeper and work better over time.

You won’t need to use scrubs to get rid of dead skin if you also use Glycolic acid. Your face may feel sensitive if you don’t wash it. If your skin is sensitive, you also don’t need to use multiple products with Glycolic acid.

Most of the time, all you need to do to keep your skin clear is use one product consistently and treat spots.

Usage

Apply a small amount of cream to the affected area using clean, washed, and dried hands. Ensure thorough rubbing to facilitate absorption, and wash your hands with water unless the application area is your hand.

Avoid washing the treated area immediately after cream application. Avoid touching your eyes, ears, mouth, or other sensitive organs. In the event of accidental contact with these areas, promptly wash with water.

Interactions

Some medicines can interact with each other and cause side effects. So, to avoid these effects, it is best to be honest with your doctor about your health history and any medicines you are taking.

Drug interactions

Glyco Cream 6 may not work well if you use it with herbal supplements and skincare cosmetics. It could cause a terrible allergic reaction, making your cream useless.

Precautions

If you forget to take your medicine, you should do so as soon as you remember. If you miss a dose, don’t put on more all at once to make up for it. That won’t make it work better and will make the cream pile up.

When too much cream is used, it just keeps piling up. It takes time, and using less will make it work better. Using it too much can sometimes make things worse. Talk to your doctor if you think you may have taken too much

Avoid getting this medicine in your eyes, nose, mouth, skin folds, anal or vaginal area, etc. If you accidentally get it in these places, wash it off with water immediately. Keep away from children.

Always read what is written on the medicine leaflet. If you need more clarification about how much, when, or how strong the medicine should be, you should always talk to your doctor.

Storage

Glyco Cream 6 w/w should be kept at room temperature in a dry, dark place. Do not freeze it.
