Ramistar might show some side effects in certain people. Following are some of the most common side effects that are observed in people consuming Ramistar:

Interactions

It is pretty common for medicines to react with other drugs or diseases.

Drug Interaction

It is advisable to inform your doctor if you are on any of the following medications:

• Any other medication for Hypertension
• Anti-epilepsy medicine
• Anti-depression medication
• Immune-suppressing drugs
• Painkillers
• Anti-Gout drugs
• Potassium supplements
• Birth control pills

Disease Interaction

The dosage of Ramistar needs to be carefully prescribed in case of certain health conditions.

Inform your doctor if you have any of the following health conditions:

• Diabetes
• Hyperuricemia or anuria
• Stenosis
• Hypotension
• Liver or Kidney disease
• Hypokalemia
• Sensitive skin to sunlight

Precautions

Ramistar-H 2.5 Tablets should be taken as instructed by your doctor. However, keeping a few things in mind is essential.

• Missed Dose: Try taking the medicine at the same time every day to avoid missing a dose. If you still miss a dose of Ramistar-H, take it as soon as you can. However, skip the missed dose of Ramistar-H 2.5 Tablet if it is almost time for your next one, and go back to your prescribed schedule. Refrain from compensating for the missed one by doubling the dose
• Overdose: If you or someone around you has mistakenly overdosed on Ramistar-H, see a doctor immediately
• Do not take Ramistar-H if you are allergic to Ramipril or Hydrochlorothiazide
• Ramistar might cause frequent urination, hence prefer taking the medication in the morning 
• Drink sufficient fluids to overcome dry mouth, muscle weakness, and extreme thirst
• You can take this medicine with or without food
• Keep your lifestyle active and your diet healthy
• Reduce the amount of table salt in your diet
• Avoid consumption of Alcohol
• Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding 
• Ramistar may cause dizziness, hence avoid driving or operating heavy machinery

Store the medicine in a cool and dry place. Keep away from the reach of children.
