href=\"https:\/\/wowrxpharmacy.com\/it\/blog\/womens-health\/pms-bloating\/\">PMS bloating<\/a>, irritation, and exhaustion.\u00a0<br><br>I didn&#8217;t grasp my body&#8217;s changes when I was younger and felt I was the only one.\u00a0<br><br>However, as I got older and talked to friends and relatives, I understood that many women get PMS.\u00a0<br><br><a href=\"https:\/\/wowrxpharmacy.com\/it\/blog\/womens-health\/my-pms-story\/\">My PMS story<\/a> consists of a monthly struggle that I have learned to manage over the years.\u00a0<br><br>In this article, I discuss the several causes of PMS based on my monthly PMS triggers and share how I manage my period symptoms.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"my-personal-experience-with-pms-causes\">My personal experience with PMS causes<\/h2>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" every woman.\u00a0<br><br>Here are some reasons, mostly lifestyle factors, that contributed to my monthly PMS triggers:<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"hormonal-fluctuations\">Hormonal fluctuations<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>It all starts with hormones.<br><br>Hormonal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/books\/NBK560698\/#:~:text=It%20is%20anticipated,for%20this%20disorder.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">changes<\/a> during the menstrual cycle caused my PMS symptoms as they do to most women.\u00a0<br><br>During my menstrual cycle, these changes affect my body&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/books\/NBK560698\/#:~:text=The%20etiology%20of,key%20etiological%20factor.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">levels<\/a> of Estrogen and Progesterone.<br><br>The fluctuating hormones lead to <a href=\"https:\/\/wowrxpharmacy.com\/it\/blog\/womens-health\/pms-mood-swings\/\">PMS mood swings<\/a>, bloating, and fatigue.<br><br>It&#8217;s like a hormonal dance that my body can&#8217;t avoid.<br><\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"stress-takes-its-toll\">Stress takes its toll<\/h3>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/abs\/pii\/S0306453019302100#:~:text=attenuated%20cortisol%20activity%20in%20women%20with%20premenstrual%20syndromes%20when%20experiencing%20an%20experimental%20stressor.%20Taken\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">levels<\/a> skyrocket, disrupting the hormonal balance and amplifying PMS symptoms.\u00a0<br><br>Emotional stress can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apa.org\/topics\/stress\/body#:~:text=Stress%20may%20make%20pain%2C%20bloating%2C%20nausea%2C%20and%20other%20stomach%20discomfort%20felt%20more%20easily.%20Vomiting%20may%20occur%20if%20the%20stress%20is%20severe%20enough.%20Furthermore%2C%20stress%20may%20cause%20an%20unnecessary%20increase%20or%20decrease%20in%20appetite.%20Unhealthy%20diets%20may%20in%20turn%20deteriorate%20one%E2%80%99s%20mood.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">intensify<\/a> physical symptoms and worsen existing conditions.<br><br>Learning to manage stress has been a game-changer for me.<br><\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"poor-diet\">Poor diet<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Everything I eat plays a significant role in my monthly PMS struggle.\u00a0<br><br>Craving sweets like there&#8217;s no tomorrow?\u00a0<br><br>Blame it on fluctuating blood <a href=\"https:\/\/www.diabetes.org.uk\/guide-to-diabetes\/your-child-and-diabetes\/periods#:~:text=Hormone%20changes%20can,like%20sugary%20food\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sugar<\/a> levels.\u00a0<br><br>Incorporating balanced meals and healthy snacks has helped curb those <a href=\"https:\/\/wowrxpharmacy.com\/it\/blog\/womens-health\/pms-cravings\/\">PMS cravings<\/a>.<br><br>I realized my salt intake is a factor behind my monthly PMS struggle, too.\u00a0<br><br>Consuming too much salt <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mayoclinic.org\/healthy-lifestyle\/womens-health\/in-depth\/water-retention\/art-20044983#:~:text=Eating%20a%20lot%20of%20salty%20food%20might%20make%20water%20retention%20worse.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">worsened<\/a> my fluid retention and bloating.<br><br>I consciously try eating a balanced diet.<br><br>Eating nutrient-rich foods, particularly those high in magnesium, calcium, vitamin B6, and omega-3 fatty acids, ease my symptoms.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"sleepless-nights\">Sleepless nights<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Ah, sleep \u2013 the elusive remedy for many woes.\u00a0<br><br>During PMS, sleep disturbances are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sleepfoundation.org\/insomnia\/pms-and-insomnia#:~:text=PMS%20often%20causes,during%20their%20period.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">comune<\/a> due to hormonal changes and discomfort.\u00a0<br><br>My lack of sleep turned into <a
