In rare instances, the medication might show severe side effects.

• Eye pain
• Bone/ joint pain
• Allergic reaction
• Dizziness or fainting
• Fast/ irregular heartbeat

Drug Interaction

Taking Voritrol tablets with 200 mg Voriconazole, together with certain medications, might affect the efficacy of either medicine. 

Following are a few of the medications that might interact with Voriconazole:

• Eletriptan
• Certain drugs to treat irregular heartbeat and seizures
• Ivabradine
• Lurasidone
• Naloxegol
• Rifamycins

Disease Interaction

Do not start the medication without informing the doctor if you have any of the following conditions:

• History of heart disease
• Liver or kidney problems
• Blood disorders

Precaution and suggestions

There are certain precautions that you need to keep in mind while on 200 mg of Voritrol tablet:

• Missed dose: In case you have missed a dose of Voriconazole, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next Voritrol 200 dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular schedule. Do not double the dosage to make up for the missed one
• Overdose: Do not consume more than the prescribed dosage of Voritrol 200. If you or anyone around you has accidentally overdosed on Voritrol 200mg, immediately consult a medical expert
• Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to Voriconazole or any of the components of Voritrol
• Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not consider these medicines without their doctor’s approval
• People with a weak immune system must not take this medicine without consulting with their doctor
• Limit alcoholic beverages and substance intake
• Avoid driving or operating machinery since this medicine can make you feel dizzy
• Your doctor might wish to check your liver function before and after starting the medication. If you observe any yellowing of the eyes or skin, darkening of urine, or experience stomach pain, promptly inform your doctor

Storage

Store the medicine at room temperature. Keep it in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
