Side effects

While Olmezest is a safe medication, it can sometimes cause mild side effects. If you are experiencing persisting side effects, please contact your physician immediately. 

The side effects of Medoxomil and Hydrochlorothiazide tablets include, 

• Dizziness
• Weakness
• Headache
• Tiredness
• Edema (swelling)
• Chest pain

Interactions

Medicines interact with other drugs and conditions to show negative effects. Please inform your doctor about your medical history in detail to avoid any complications in the future. 

Drug Interactions 

If you are using the following or any other medications, please inform your doctor before taking medicine:

• Dexamethasone
• Insulin
• Diclofenac
• Amitriptyline

Disease Interactions 

If you suffer from any of the following conditions, take medicine after informing your doctor, 

• Diabetes
• Hyperuricemia 

Precautions 

You must follow the following precautions before taking the Hypertension medicine:

• Missed Dose: If you miss a dose of Olmezest H, take it as soon as possible. However, skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next one and go back to your regular schedule. Don’t double the dose
• Overdose: If you suspect you might have overdosed on Olmezest H, see a doctor immediately
• It contains a diuretic and will increase the urge to urination, so it is best to avoid taking this medicine within four hours of going to bed
• It is essential not to stop taking this medicine until your doctor tells you not to
• Use Olmezest H 20 to get the most benefit from it even if you feel well
• The medicine might not be safe for pregnant and breastfeeding females. Please contact your doctor before taking the medicine
• Olmezest H 20 mg pills might dehydrate you. Drink lots of fluids and notify your doctor if you have severe thirst, a dry mouth, or muscular weakness
• It might make you feel dizzy. When you get up from sitting or lying down, do it slowly

Store the medicine in a cool and dry place. Keep away from the reach of children.
