Precautions

You should take Olmezest AM 5/40mg Tablets as instructed by your doctor. However, keeping a few things in mind is essential.

• Missed Dose: Take the missed dose as soon as you can. If it is almost time for you to take the next dose of the tablets, skip the missed dose and catch up to the schedule. Do not double the dose
• Overdose: If you overdose on Olmezest AM 5/40mg, see a doctor immediately
• Do not take this Olmezest AM 5/40mg if you are allergic to Olmesartan Medoxomil or Hydrochlorothiazide
• You can take this medicine with or without food
• Try raising your legs on a low stool when you are sitting to relieve swelling in your ankles and feet
• Avoid taking Potassium-rich foods and Potassium supplements
• Reduce the amount of table salt in your diet
• Avoid consumption of alcohol
• Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking the medication
• Olmezest AM 5/40 mg may cause dizziness, hence avoid driving or operating heavy machinery
